The product idea f maurer's based on working with different colors and levels. The mirror image appears gridded on the outside, only on the inside the viewer can see his reflection unobstructed.
In the single color concept (x/x), the outside of the mirror frame has the color x, the inside of the frame is on the plane of the mirror image as color x (photo on the left).
With the two-color concept (y/x), the three-dimensional effect of the object is emphasized, depending on the perspective of the viewer. The mirror frame has different colors on the outside (y) than on the inside (x).
The color compositions were developed by f maurer together with the Viennese artist Sylvia Kummer.
